Spring Sing: A Family Celebration of the Vernal Equinox

Watch Revels Virtual Spring Sing on YouTube

There is NEVER a wrong time to sing,

The health and well-being of our audience, volunteers, performers, and staff is Revels’ top priority.  Due to the potential health risks posed by COVID-19, we have made the decision to cancel this year’s Spring Sing scheduled for March 21 and replace it with an event – with lots of singing! -  on a date to be determined closer to the summer solstice.

We recognize that Spring Sing is a meaningful event for many members of our community, full of music, song, and joy. We promise you that, and so much more, at our next celebratory gathering. But health and safety are most important.

In the meantime...

Spring Sing Cancelled

Revels Music Director, Megan Henderson, hosts this joyful family celebration marking the Spring Equinox. Let's wake up the animals from their long winter’s nap and summon those seeds up through the thawing ground with songs celebrating the earth and all its creatures coming back into full bloom.

David Coffin, Mary Casey, our lively Youth Alumni and Children’s Choruses and the Sourdough Teen Sword Team will lead the festivities. Word sheets will be provided, so come warmed up and ready to sing. Word on the street is that the Padstow  ‘obby ‘oss, that ancient harbinger of spring  will be appearing again… all the way from Cornwall, England!
