16th Annual Revels RiverSing

Saturday, September 21, 2019,  5:00 - 7:30 pm

Hosted by Megan Henderson, Revels Music Director

Raise your voice in song as Revels waves goodbye to summer and welcomes in the fall at this FREE family-friendly Equinox celebration in our new riverfront location, the Herter Park Amphitheater in Allston! Enjoy pre-show family festivities, a beer garden for adults, and lots of communal singing. This year's headliner is Noel Paul Stookey of Peter, Paul and Mary fame. Expect some surprises too!

Hosted by Revels music director Megan Henderson, Revels RiverSing is a participatory event filled with music and songs celebrating the season and the splendor of the Charles River and its parklands.

The event features over 100 performers including headliner Noel Paul Stookey of Peter, Paul and Mary fame, adult and children's choruses, guest artists, and a fabulous folk band - but the real stars of RiverSing are YOU!  Bring your best voices. Songsheets will be available on site so we can all sing along!

Event Timeline:
Family activities (face painting, balloon twisting, craft-making & more!) start at 5pm followed by a puppet-filled parade to the Amphitheater that all can join. The singing starts at 6pm sharp!

Note:
Herter Park offers FREE PARKING, a beer garden, and a concession stand for snacks and drink.

Songsheets:
A program with the song texts will be available at RiverSing. The songsheet is posted here.

Filled with simple pleasures, Revels RiverSing is a terrific community event the whole family will enjoy!
