A Celebration of Spring

A FREE collaborative performance at Perkins School for the Blind, Thursday, May 31 at 7:30 pm

For the past 17 years Revels has collaborated with Perkins School for the Blind on an inspirational, music-filled "Celebration of Spring" featuring both Perkins students and Revels performers. These free, hour-long  programs are festive and fun while demonstrating the power of traditional music, song and ritual to bridge cultures and eliminate boundaries. We hope to see you there!

Join us for a joyful and inspirational concert of traditional music, dance and song as we celebrate spring with the talented students from Perkins School for the Blind.

Revels directors Megan Henderson and Paddy Swanson lead this special one-hour program melding Perkins' wonderful singers with Revels' adult and children's choruses, a children's morris dance team, and a small ensemble of top shelf musicians. Enjoy music and songs from South Africa, Croatia, England and America, plus a wild visit from that ancient harbinger of spring, the Padstow 'Obby 'Oss,  all the way from Cornwall, England!

Performers include:
