FREE Event for children ages 5-12

Revels Education wants to celebrate Samhain (Sow-win) with eager trick-or-treaters on October 31. This night is associated with so many names and traditions, and together, we are going to take a special journey to Ireland to check out, what’s said to be, the world's original “Halloween.”

Add eerie imagination, ghoulish songs, and mysterious stories and art to your fright night as Revels Education ushers in the astronomical midpoint between the autumn equinox and winter solstice!

samhain7.jpgSamhain is a pagan religious festival originating from an ancient Celtic spiritual tradition. In modern times, Samhain (a Gaelic word pronounced “sow-win”) is usually celebrated from October 31 to November 1 to welcome in the harvest and usher in “the dark half of the year.” Ancient Celts marked Samhain as the most significant of the four quarterly fire festivals, taking place at the midpoint between the fall equinox and the winter solstice.

This online scare-tastic event is FREE for ages 5-12! We kick off our night at 6:30pm. Spaces are limited so sign up now
