A Celebration of Spring

A FREE collaborative performance at the Perkins School for the Blind, Thursday, May 25, 2017

For the past seventeen years Revels has collaborated with Perkins School for the Blind on a music-filled "Celebration of Spring", featuring both Perkins students and Revels performers. These free, hour-long inspirational programs demonstrate the power of traditional music, song and ritual to bridge cultures and eliminate boundaries.

Join us for an inspirational hour-long performance of seasonal music, dance and song!  Enjoy traditional English songs, songs from the Islands, and from Early America performed by the talented Perkins School Secondary Program Chorus, a Revels chorus of adults and children, musician/song leader David Coffin, a young rapper sword dance team, plus a great band of Revels musicians.  Last but not least, expect a wild visit from the ancient and venerable Padstow 'Obby 'Oss, all the way from Cornwall, England!
