The Ensemble
Revels Repertory Company (formerly Circle of Song) was created in 1997 to expand the reach of Revels programs across southern New England. The 40-member ensemble is selected by audition and represents 20 communities in the Greater Boston area. As volunteers, members share a strong commitment to Revels and each other. Although the ensemble includes skilled singers, actors, storytellers and dancers, professional performers are hired occasionally to fill a specific program need.
Performance history
The ensemble has presented public performances for over 15,000 people at museums, community concert series, historical societies, libraries and festivals in five states and has given school performances in over 40 communities in the Greater Boston area.
