Revels Rep Public Performances

Revels Rep offers five programs in revolving repertory. All programs are appropriate for adults and children, ages six and up. School versions are available as indicated.

Harvest Home

When the hay is in, the grapes pressed and the apples stored, it's time for celebation: singing and dancing, begging for soul cakes, and telling ghost stories. Based on British, French and American traditions, the program includes the "souling" ritual (the origin of trick-or-treating), Shaker songs and dances, and a "jump" song that will lift audiences out of their seats (booking for fall, 2011).

Chantey, Carol, and Pub Sings

Perfect for private functions, members’ or fundraising events, Revels Rep’s sings provide a more informal and intimate opportunity for audience participation at a lower cost than a full performance. You supply the place and refreshments and Revels Rep will provide costumed performers and song books. We can also include singing games for children if you wish (booking for 2011 and beyond).
