Dance Workshop
Play Party Games
Grades 2-6
$100-$150 per session; 5-8 sessions
Revels teaching artists introduce and rehearse a mummers' play. This traditional English folk play, often performed as street theater, consists of a story told in rhyme by a motley bunch of ritual characters, including a hero, a villain, a doctor and a fool. The play may incoporate an English longsword dance or a children's singing game. The play can be performed for an audience at the final session.
My 4th and 5th graders loved being part of Revels [Mummers Workshop]. Revels was a wonderful addition to our summer program. Thank you!

St. Columbkille Summer Program
Grades 4-8
$100-$150 per session; 5-8 sessions
Revels teaching artists introduce and rehearse traditional morris, English longsword or international folk dances. The workshop can end with a short performance.
Grades K-4
$100-$150 per session; 1-8 sessions
Revels teaching artists facilitate a Play Party consisting of children's singing games and dances collected from various cultures around the world.
