Spring Sing

A Family Celebration of the Vernal Equinox

Celebrate the arrival of spring amidst forsythia blossoms and sprigs of green at this joyful family event featuring lots of community singing, dancing, refreshments, and entertainment by children from the Spring Workshop.

Music director George Emlen, joined by Revels favorite David Coffin, a fine band of musicians, and an embedded chorus, will lead everyone gathered in the hall in seasonal songs from A Revels Garland of Song.* Children from the Revels Spring Workshop will perform a traditional mummers' play (complete with dragon) and a sword dance. The evening ends with delicious homemade refreshments.

When the weather is still dreary,
Spring Sing gives me a boost
and has me really feel that spring is coming.
